How runners "look" is wrong more often than it's right (did he look relaxed?) but Okombo looks incredible right now. Looks like he's constantly putting on the breaks to stay with the group, and they're running 58:50 pace.. crazy.
Caroline is falling off.
I don't want to be rude but does anyone else thing we need a gender test with one of these women. I think we've found the Semenya of the half. I thought she was a male pacer. I won't say the name but it's obvious.
These men pacing the women look like they’re absolutely jogging. How many posting have run sub 65.

Women have fallen just off WR pace . WR is 64:52 right? they are on 64:54 pace.
15 km 46:06 3:07 1:04:50
16 km 49:11 3:05 1:04:51
17 km 52:18 3:07 1:04:54
Didn't Hutchings say one of these men is making his debut? Yimer? My god. Can you imagine that?
Do they pay appearance fees? I mean why wouldn't all of th3ese guys come to Houston and guarantee them 10,000.
Yimer was going to run Houston, but had Visa problems.
Mary’s gonna win.
Interesting, Hutchings repeatedly asking for the 2 pacemakers to drop out as the 2 have private pacemakers & the third is 'on her own'
Does Hutchings not know about splits website? Why isn't he talking about it. They are right on WR pace!!
17 km 52:18 3:07 1:04:54
18 km 55:20 3:02 1:04:51
19 km 58:26 3:06 1:04:53
YOu'd think they'd be able to kick off that and get it. Just the abble for the win. Remember, there is a massive like 100k bonus right. I assume only the winner gets it?
THere we go.
Did anyone else just see that. DQ them both. THey both were handed water from a male pacer. THat's not allowed!!! 62 minutes in.

Houston half? This year? With the subpar pacing and weather, none of these guys would have broken 1:00:00 last month.

Just because a woman looks masculine doesn't mean she has internal testes like Semenya lmao.
OMG she let up earlyi and cost herslef 100k?
She missed 100k by 1 second!!!

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. Like, that looked too easy for her.
Chemutai by 2 seconds, just off w.r. over Keitany, Hutchings had a point, would have been more compelling without the 2 men in the picture the whole finish.
Karoki is a half marathon ace, wonder if he ever will be able to translate it to the marathon.
The finish line clock being 2" early didn't help...
Hutchings is normally so good but he needs a partner. FLy me out next year. He doesn't seem to even know the women's WR..
Actually maybe i don't know what it is. Wikipedia says 64:52. Our preview and tilastapaja say 64:51.
I want to apologize to JOnatahn Gault. He picked Karoki to win in our preview and as the no-nothing boss, I overruled it and picked someone else.
Ooooh, soooo close!!! Didn’t realize Fancy was still there with Mary till the last 100m. And um yeah she looks a little bit “manly”.
Can the debutante Ethiopian, Yimer, keep it close as Karoki takes over?

Lol, I think that's what it'll take to break Paulas record. They need to have a man to do it.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
