T-minus less than 12 hours to go. Will check weather conditions. I got Jepkosgei (no surprise) and the 20 year old, Okombo
Looks like 56 at the start, 59 at the finish (no cloud cover), humidity at 80% at the start, winds from the south at 7. Not bad. Too bad I have an easy run on schedule for tomorrow. I suspect I’ll be a little fired up after tonight.
Karoki - he needs to bounce back after the Fukuoka crash
Less than 2 hours, just trying to keep this on first page as there is not usually an event this happening in road racing on a weeknight and don't want yens to miss a great live event.
15 minutes, hoping for a live thread as I don't know 1/2 these 1/2 guys.
Totally forgot about this race! Thanks for bumping the thread kma! Weather is looking fantastic so hoping to see the get after it.
I missed the live stream of Dusseldorf the other day but was lucky enough to catch most of the big races on You Tube a few hours later, didn't want a repeat of that. So few free live streams available anymore, this should be a barnburner on both men's and woman's side. No way both races disappoint. Almost guaranteed at least one doozy!
Dont want to jinx us, but it looks like its gonna be a quality production from the intro....
Race starts at 9:45 pm ET.
Race preview is here:
Watch it below.

Live splits here:
Jepkosgei, Keitany and one other woman have their own pacemaker! (In addition to general women's pacemakers)
Women to be paced at sub 65:00 right from the start
Very disappointing there are no ELITE American runners in the race, I read on one of the Letsrun Threads when I asked why Rupp was not running The Houston Half Marathon? and someone said he was running RAK instead, I was looking forward to Rupp smashing Hall's 59:43 American Record and hopefully being the first American under 59.
anyone else getting a bike race?

3:03 1st K, well under 65:00 pace
Race is nearly all Kenyans plus Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia for the men. Women are pretty much 100% Kenyan.
Men going off at 59:00 flat pace, looking for a 27:50 10K split
Wow, 6:06 at 2K. Metrenomic pacing
I thought Fancy Chemutai was a male pacemaker.
I also wonder how these women run so fast with such horrible form.
