Went to the back early and I thought it was just his usual schtick. Then he went further and further off the back with Leer, and eventually just stopped. Might be hurt.

Who’s that

You know, Bob Anderson. He looks just like your uncle, and owns a hardware store.
I forgot Leer was even in the race. Was I mistaken that they didn't mention he won it in 2014?
Yeah. I meant Andrews, of course. That was dumb. Had Jets WR Robby Anderson on my mind recently.
Cant help but feel bad for the guy. In sport, people who get a taste of eliteness and do not fulfill their given potential go through an extreme form of failure called dismal failure. It is dismal because not only he knows he has failed but we all know it too. Six years ago he left the NCAA as the next great hope in the 800 with 1:44 speed. He doubled down his formative years on track running and basically dropped out of college to pursue his dreams. Now he has nothing going for him; no degree, no experience and a slim contract which likely means no girlfriend. I wonder how his former high school and college classmates are doing? Would he have been better off if he didnt run at all?

I don’t think there’s any reason to be quite that down on him...he won his first US title just last year. No reason why he can’t bounce back. He’s the most frustrating runner in the world to watch, though. How much better would his career have been if he had just stayed mid-pack in every race rather than hanging out in last?

This. He had one bad indoor race. What are you talking about?
You do realize that Andrews has the rest of his life to get his degree after his running career ends? Or even while his running career is still going as Rupp and Centro are doing.

Wasted his first two years "pursuing his dreams." He's either lazy or not very bright.
He graduated from UVA in December 2014
Dudes an Olympian and ncaa champ.
Id burn both nuts for these
His NCAA championship is a fun race to watch. He makes many of his races exciting and is always in good spirits, not cocky except in a upbeat way. He has the life that almost all of us would want.
Saw him hugging someone (his mom?) and crying for a long time after the Meet ended. So wondering if he picked up an injury or it just hit him hard having an off day.
Possibly his sister. They had a very odd relationship.
I think you mean Robbie Andrews

Yeah, let's hold a bake sale fundraiser to help him out. Wanda will whip up some cupcakes.

this could not be more wrong....
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
