You can see the women in the back of the men's race about 40 seconds back...so much for the questionable pacer being added late...
Why are we watching this hottie talk about Chinatown?
you may need VPN, though.
Top 10 women at 5k. Dibaba getting after it! 2:16:07 pace. Hasay has a decision to make. Try to go with the leaders or hang back and run the whole thing solo?

Too much frivolity going on in Chicago Chinatown. This is a serious event.
This may have been covered as I'm just coming back from my run, but my NBC Sports Gold has no commentary???? It's just people cheering and foot steps
The women are on....2:16 flat pace? Through 6 or 7K. Whats going to happen to Jordan if she keeps trying to hang with this? I'm fearing a 1:09-1:17 type split
Does anyone else have NBC Gold and the Chicago stream running? Only way to get commentary and running the whole time. Sad really
MARRCA
Too slow
Just thought of the perfect nickname for Salazar....Wait for it!...The Ruppeteer....

What would her marathon time be with those splits?
I heard commentary on the NBC Gold stream briefly, for like 10 seconds, then it cut out again. Not sure if they are having a technical issue or if it's just supposed to be video. It's kind of lame without any commentary.
Everyone else getting the choppy audio?
I think the best option for US people is to watch it on NBCSN. YOu at least get elite commentating. The chicago local broadcast has better announcers but way too many human interest stories.
I don't know why Gold can't put announcers on there. Absurd.
I just checked my email to see if RickY Simms got back to me about whether Rupp has his own rabbit. Simms didn't write back but another source did.
"He must be the "Hidden" Pacer only (officially there Are no Pacers). I dont think he goes to finish."

Yep. That's what I've got going and, of course, the LRC live thread for smart-ass comments and the occasional poignant observation.
99 marathons.
i wish her good luck with her treatment, but she doesnt have to lie about number of done marathons to get people's respect
Rupp sitting directly behind Puskedra. Smart man.
The other AB back in front. Brooks has a guy pacing the women.
This is working for me on Microsoft Edge (not on Chrome though)
