Women
Mile 1: 5:18
Mile 2: 5:09 (10:27) Pack of five with several men. Hasay toward the back of the pack and threatening to drop. Dibaba leading it, Kiplagat, Kosgei and Kipketer are others with her.
Mile 3: 5:05 (15:32)
5k: 16:08. 27 men in lead pack.
Mile 6: 31:16
10k: 32:28 (16:20) Five women in lead pack and Luke Humphrey running with them. Dibaba, Kiplagat, Kosgei, Kipketer, Hasay.
Mile 7: 36:34 (5:18)
Mile 8: 41:56 (5:22)
Mile 9: 47:13 (5:17)
15k: 49:02 (16:34). Hasay actually leading it!
Mile 10: 52:38 (5:24)
Mile 11: 57:57 (5:19). Still five women but Dibaba back to the front.
Mile 12: 1:03:15 (5:18)
20k: 1:05:35 (16:33)
Mile 13: 1:08:35
Half: 1:09:06. Dibaba stringing it out now. Kosgei the only one going with her.
Dibaba/Kosgei have separated from the others.
Mile 14: 1:13:48 (5:13)
Mile 15: 1:19:08 (5:20) Still Dibaba and Kosgei, they have gapped the remaining women significantly
25k: 1:21:59 (16:24) Dibaba/Kosgei have 19 seconds on Kiplagat/Hasay. Hasay moves into third ahead of Kiplagat just after 25k
Mile 16: 1:24:28 (5:20) Dibaba pushing again, starting to get a couple strides on Kosgei. Dibaba has had a few strides on Kosgei for a mile or so now but Kosgei hanging in there.
Mile 18: 1:35:00 Kosgei, after running a few meters behind DIbaba for the last mile or two, has almost drawn level with Dibaba.
Dibaba looks puffy. Weight gain?
This race needs to bring back pacers.

True. He's past his prime IMO, as the US Trials and Rio showed.
Did you mean Rio showed Rupp is past his prime as he won bronze in the marathon?
It would prove that he can win marathons, which is the main point of running marathons.
This is an awesome interview.
Wheel chair racing is the best.

No.
Which means he's on the edge of his energy, and will fall back soon.
Name of the woman interviewing McFadden?

On the track. The point from the OP was that Rupp was no longer a 26:4X guy anymore.

Thanks! Was wondering about a mile marker or something, but thank you for the typical Letsrun.com productive answer.
Sorry about that. He was overtaken at 14.28745 miles into the race. I have a direct link to his gps he is wearing.

Literally no one cares
I do. Won by Festus Talam apparently in wet and slippery conditions.
Puskedra in free fall
Estrada not looking to go big today either.
McFadden says she has great doctors...
Hows the testing in wheelchair racing?

Anyone ever eaten at AL'S ITALIAN BEEF?? Sounds good.
Yes. It was good.
No. That’s her regular look, but has become stronger for the longer distance.
She’s a powerful high kicker like her male equivalent: Bekele
Was curious about the prize money at Chicago after I saw David Monti tweeting about it. It only goes 5 deep in the open. Then it goes 10 deep American only but from just $15k down to $500.
In all of the previews bashing the lack of a quality field, maybe this would have been something to look at. Without pacers and slower winning times on the men's side, if you're not American and finish 6th running 2:14 in a 2:11 race that gets you nothing. No prize money. No invite to a big spring marathon. For a race as big as Chicago, you should go at least 10 deep, if not 15 or 20. You have the money.

Apparently during that awesome interview two top contenders dropped out.
Half an hour later they realize Kimetto & Biwott are not there...
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
