A 60 yr old race walker was nailed by USADA for steroids. How is this not on the front page? Can't wait for this guy's excuse. Tainted beef? Swapping bodily fluids? What will it be?

You mean he's not an anti-aging wonder afterall? 😉
Whew, good thing we nailed him, huh? We can all sleep a little safer tonight!

I would have to conclude that the doping did not work as he was race WALKING. I may need to read this in its entirety to enjoy more of the facts.

Old folks are allowed to dope.

He should've paid attention and used one of the many known out-of-jail cards, such as the sex or supplement or meat excuse.
He was using a steroid cream for his arthritis. Perfectly understandable. This is a non-story.

Agreed. I think that 60+ should be allowed to dope. Maybe even 55+. No matter how much dope, they could not be world class at that age
It would be a great platform for the benefits of anti aging drugs. Furthermore, it could even improve it, as many would share their experience.
A non-story, or the story of a doper who "has received a four-year suspension".

It's a bit like putting Martha Stewart in prison while murders are free to roam the streets. You can tell the guy is getting old as he didn’t give us a creative excuse, he should have said something like "I confused it for viagra."
As a 52 year old who is wrecked for 3 days after a long run, I certainly wouldn't want to be competing against somebody doping who probably only needs one day to recover like I could when I was in my 30s.
I don't ever want to hear "testing is expensive" if we're wasting money/time/effort testing masters runners.

Here's a list of some excuses:

Are you serious? A steriod cream for his arthritis? Lol. I've tried searching the story for additional info & can't find anything (do you have a link?). If it's the innocuous use of a steriod cream for OA that results in a 4 yr ban, then this is plain ridiculous by USADA. 👎
Hell, you've had pro's testing positive for "exogenous androgenic anabolic steroid (AAS) and/or its metabolites," who get their bans significantly reduced by coming up all kinds of excuses. Excuses such as using a male enhancement product, a tainted supplement they injested that was made in China, or a contaminated food product, and so on...who could have imagined. And this 60 yr old cat gets banned for 4 years for using a cream for his OA?! Unfreaking believable! 😄

Isn't that the truth. I wonder if he was one of those "likely doping" athletes that was profiled on the ABP, though I didn't see his name listed on the leaked files. Lol.
He was competing in the 3k and 10k walks AND he was the only athlete in his age group. So, he didn't need any advantage of any kind since he was guaranteed to win. Yet they still tested him etc. Waste of time and money and, whatsmore, a 4 year ban at 60 is way more serious than a 4 year ban for someone in their 20's.
Meanwhile nothing was done about the series of high profile US athletes with dodgy bio passport results in the Fancy Bears leaks. But yeah, busting some 60 year old amateur race walker really shows that USADA are serious about cleaning up doping in track and field...

^This. All propaganda...
The running joke in my community is where are the 55+ year olds who aren't doping. The top runners in that age group are running the same, if not better than they were at 45. 20 years ago this phenomenon did not exist. It's pretty obvious what's going on.

Yes, it is obvious what's going on. Little turds like you are getting jealous.
As a 38 year-old breaking his college PRs while taking literally no pills whatsoever, I'm telling you how wrong you are.
