Too much porn watching.
If there would have been Brazzers playing on a big screen at the finish line, he would've run 3:45.

You obviously do hypocrite.
What really matters is Ben getting dead last on the international stage last weekend. A silly road mile is worth nothing.
Willis is usually pretty strong on roads so that performance is an eye opener.

That is true. I need to correct myself. Willis actually is credited with a 4:12 tonight, finishing 11th in a fileld of 12.
Willis doesn't seem to be in peak racing shape right now. Still not a great showing from him... Hopefully he looks better this summer. Ben looked great, congrats to him!!!
Ben went out ahead of the rest of the pack and it looked to me like Nick went out faster to try to keep up with him, and burned out. So if he'd just went with the rest of the pack and raced for second, he may have gotten it... *possibly* who knows
I think it would actually add a considerable number of minutes....

It's big b's home region so he always shows pride and produces spectacular performances. Nick Willis should go on holiday. If it were me, after two or three olympics, a slow year could rest the cns.

My eyes, my eyes.
Yeah, Ben is great in those meaningless road miles during preseason.
Wait until the races that matter.
It is strange to see Willis not on form. But he has shown in recent years he knows how to peak at the right time. [quote]Peppers pot wrote:

They'll both be on the track at Pre. Look for another stinker from Blankenship. He's an OTC'er at the end of the day, after all.

I missed that. Link(s)?
Willis has mentioned on social media that he took a long training break after Rio...probably a good move for a 34 year old. Its early May for cryin' out loud, he will be ready when it counts

Yeah! You tell him. I hated how he did well in the early season races, only to blow it and make the Olympic 1500 team. Then he blew it again and made the Olympic final. What a choker.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
