Took them long enough, lol.
Time to bug the guy that wrote the CNN article in the OP of this thread. Let's see if he is legit or another scammer.

LOL, only a cheater riding in the RV would call RV trouble a road block. Isn't he supposed to be running outside of the RV?
They just posted a tweet with a photo of Kavinoky wearing a helmet and with a new black bike. Looks like his first tweets today were lies since he is clearly not running. It's also a record high of 107 degrees Fahrenheit in the Phoenix area today. Kavinoky has nowhere near the amount of sweat he should have wearing a grey shirt and biking outdoors in that kind of weather.

um no
i live in phoenix
you sweat quite heavily when running
nice try though
Ummm . . . since when are "sweating heavily" and "sweat evaporates" contradictory statements?
Also, I am the only one who is allowed to begin posts with "ummm" (or "um" for that matter).

yes you get ummm
i wasnt aware you had dibs on all ums regardless of the number of m's
that's why i used only one um
i won't make that mistake again
er, anyway
i assumed you were trying to justify his lack of visible sweat stains by commenting about the humidity levels in the desert
were you not?

C'mon dude, you do not have exclusivity on ummm".
For example:
Ummm, ever heard of Jordan Hasay?
Ummmmmmm....what's going on?
If you want to get annoyed watch this.
Summary:
Darren Kavinoky widely publicized that he would run (not walk) across America as a 50 year old man in order to get rich off sponsorships. When he started the "run" near the end of April, he couldn't even do one day at the 40-50 miles per day he claimed he would be doing. In fact, he almost immediately began cheating by rollerblading and riding bikes. He was even dumb enough to post photos and videos of this in tweets before deleting them.
Now, as we track him and the very large distances he travels per day, it is obvious he is riding in the RV now. Especially apparent is Kavinoky's extreme lack of sweat from what should be very intense efforts in hot weather.
We are trying to see if anyone has luck capturing him on video cheating.

What a moving story.

Not. I have to admit, it's sad to mislead the public in thinking everything is sugar coated but then again most people are naive I guess, no?

This dolt has the Rossi look to him.
Question, does anyone know why Athlinks says Kavinoky's marathon PR is 3:31:33 when that doesn't show up in any results and Kavinoky typically finishes a marathon in a slow 4:30? Did Kavinoky get disqualified from a marathon?
So I searched up MarathonGuide for Darren Kavinoky and I found this 03:31:33 2011 San Diego Marathon result for a Darren Kavinoky that is the right age (exact year) and location for our Kavinoky so it definitely seems like him. His law firm is in Woodland Hills, CA and Darren Kavinoky is a pretty unique name. Note that the formatting of the splits is messed up on the results site and everyone only has 3 splits.I haven't been able to find race photos for the race, maybe one of you will have some luck or we can try asking the race organizers about this result. If this is correct, it would indicate Kavinoky cheated in this marathon since he typically finishes in the 4:30 range. It would also explain why this wouldn't show up in Athlinks. This could be our smoking gun.
http://running.competitor.com/rnrresults?eId=38&eiId=45&seId=&pId=327359Here's some race photos from Kavinoky's other marathons:
http://www.marathonfoto.com/Proofs?PIN=X93B80&lastName=KAVINOKYhttp://www.marathonfoto.com/Proofs?PIN=U66U06&lastName=KAVINOKYTo add some fuel to the fire, this 2014 snapshot of Kavinoky's Athlink profile does list that 2011 San Diego Marathon with that 3:31 time. Kavinoky also raced the San Diego Marathon in 2003 with a suspicious 4 hour finishing time.
You guys let KP Kelly off the hook and now it looks like this guy will skate (pun intended) too.
What happened to the good ole LRC I used to know?

I guess nobody cares. He's going to ride the RV, ride a bike across America and he's going to get away with it.
