Exactly.
What record or accomplishment are we trying to disprove? The whole thread has been baffling.

He ran for about 25 miles then covered most of the rest riding in the RV, just popping out to take some photos. At best he probably only rode 2 or 3 hours a day when he felt like it.
You new here? You not read this thread???

Watch this video of one of his tweets from May 10th. He says he will self-propel across the country, even if he has to crawl. Riding in the RV is not self-propelled. The gaps in the tracking were so frequent that the data was pretty much meaningless. It was incredibly blatant on the last day when they had the GPS tracker turned on for the first 8-10 miles, then a 75 mile beeline to NYC, then turned on again for the last few miles. He rode in the RV, and everyone in his crew knows it. I'm hoping one of his crew tells the truth when they are back in California. When they do reveal the truth, I don't want them to do it in this forum because people won't believe it is them because of the anonymity here. RV driver or Kyle, please have a press conference and expose the truth.
The poster I was questioning was speaking specifically to lies in that embedded post, not that the guy lies in general (he's a lawyer FFS of course he lies). I'm not going to give that tool an extra view by watching his video.
Can you read? He says this -
" #Ran, #skated, & #bicycled from #LA to #NYC!
Clearly making out he covered it all by running, skating and cycling.
Funnily enough he doesn't mention most was done riding in an RV.
Plus always boasted he would RUN it ALL in order to get sponsors.
You think he'd have got all this paid for by sponsors by saying he wanted a funded trip for doing an hour or so cycling a day, then riding an RV?
No. So then he has misled everyone and lied

It really is quite straightforward - he was running it as the large graphic on his RV proclaimed, then he was biking it or any other method of self-propulsion - the snag being that it really doesn't look like this happened. If he adjusted his claim to be "and riding in an RV" the thread would have no reason for continuing.
I wonder who gets to drive that hideously painted RV back to California. At least they won't have to creep along at 15 MPH like they did heading east so the GPS would look like they were riding bikes. Toward the end of the trip they figured out that they could just turn the damn thing off and drive the speed limit.

You can't read. That post doesn't say that he only used those methods to make the trip, only that those methods were used. Sorry, but there is a difference when you are talking about lying.

Prove it.
I guess GMA didn't read this thread.
The guy is a fraud, plain and simple.
I've driven across the country a few times and gone for runs while doing it. According to Darren's definition, I've run across the country. Would anyone buy that? Come on man!

Rental units don't let you custom paint the entire outside of the vehicle, you dummy.

It was probably a wrap.

No, he conned some sponsor into paying for it.

It's obviously a wrap and I guarantee you it was rented. That's how these things work. Dumb Dumb.

Are you being deliberately stupid, or just one of Darren's scam friends trying to APPEAR stupid?
He got a shed load of gear and a free RV by saying he would RUN THE WHOLE WAY ACROSS AMERICA?
You understand so far?
He then switched to cycling on day one. Then switched to riding an hour or so a day then sitting in the RV faking it, riding at fast cycling speeds impossible for those stupid bikes.
Now he is CLEARLY implying he RAN SKATED AND CYCLED across America, with no mention he used other methods, like riding in a vehicle.
It is perfectly obvious what he is claiming.
If you list that you journeyed across America using just three ways, then you are clearly stating JUST these three ways, and he didn't.
He's a lying fraud and this thread will pop up on a google search for his name forever
