Jordan great job...hope Galen is ready for boston
Flotrack has the real deal story (I hate flotrack)... letsrun looked second rate this am, during this event; crap coverage, you probably watched the flotrack video to make your remarks here. What do you have anymore, a message board. Decision time for letsrun... Are you going to cover running or just report second hand ?
This shit is free, fool... and so was the original stream, they didn't block it in NA.

64:52 world record for Joyciline Jepkosgei! First woman ever under 65. Violah Jepchumba 2nd in 65:23.
Also broke Paula's 10k road record en route
5K 14:53
10K 30:04 (15:10) WR
15K 45:37 (15:33) WR
20K 1:01:25 (15:48) WR
Finish: 1:04:52 WR
Previous best 30.21
Wow. Perhaps this is the lady who is gonna threaten Paula's marathon wr, about time!
Rubbish by Rupp. In poor shape it seems. To those saying it was just training or a tempo run, you don't travel 4000+ miles to do that, LOL.
Great run by Hasay though.
Hard to know what 62 means for Rupp - could have been training through this race but why travel so far to do that? Maybe the travel took something out of him. I predict he will go between 2:08 - 2:09 in Boston based on these results.
Hasay crushed it - she could go sub 2:22 which would be a monster debut.
if you saw his interview before the race, he looked exhausted.
Jordan MF Hasay! I foresee her breaking Kastor's NR by 2019.

Yes Hasay CRUSHED it. Glad she is finding success.
I for one did not expect Rupp to get the AR. You do not prove yourself by running 2:10 regardless of the race. You need a sub-2:05 on record eligible course to put yourself in 59:30 contention for the half (IMHO).
Hall's 59:43 was more of an outlier.
Kenyans are going to have Rupp as an appetizer in Boston.

If by "exhausted" you mean "soft" then yes.
Rupp can make agreat career as a pace maker in women bronze label races

Tamirat Tola FTW 59:37. Rupp 11th in 61:59.
It was obviously 1:02:00, 1:02:01 or even 1:02:02 on the clock when he finished.
Did Salazar bully the timer/director into bumping down the official time? Was it chip time lol?
Wasn't Khannouchi known for running slow ass halves before breakout marathons? Definitely not concerned.

Probably just a tad faster than his planned Boston pace. Same for Jordan (look for her to in about 71-72 minutes). They are getting good tempo work, in a race environment, while probably both picking up some nice appearance fees.
This is the correct answer. And if something doesn't feel right... DNF to not risk injury. I predict 62:02 with zero hat changes.
Pumped for Boston.
Alberto has identified something about the Prague course that is particularly unique for preparing for Boston. I have no idea what that is.
For the record I was off by 3 seconds.
Was there a hat change?

You were massively off about Hasay, but hey even a broken clock is right twice a day. Taking shots in the dark.
Prague is basically flat. More likely lax testing and a willingness to round down from 1:02:01 to 1:01:59.
Real questions are re Boston: top-10 or no? DNS or no?

There is a famous world class coach that visits LR that has said before that running a 'good' half just before a full marathon is not a good sign. He says you cannot be in great shape for both at the same time.
I don't think this necessarily means Galen isn't ready for Boston.

Kipchoge went low 59, so you think he's marathon time would not be good?
You Rupp fans don't let the facts distract you hu?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
