Will we see Rupp sneak under the 60 minute mark?

Yes, 58:59-59:20, He is way better than the Robertson twins and Hawkins and they ran 59:47-60:00, 60:01, he is also way better than Ryan Hall even when Hall ran 59:43.
Also you know he would not go all the way to Prague 2 weeks before Boston if he was not going to do something worthwhile like break the American Record.
fastest non African times
1. Abraham Cheboron of Bahrain in Asia 59:10 (Note he ran 58:48 when he was a Kenyan)
2. Mo Farah 59:22
3. Marilson Dos Santos 59:33
4. Ryan Hall and Antonio Pinto 59:43
I think at minimum he beats Farah's time and it would not shock me if he beat Cheboron's time, hopefully he dips under 59

DNS
what kind of race results was he putting up leading up to the Olympics? He only had that one local HM leading up to the trials, right? (and some indoor races?)
He is going to take it easy and run his planned Boston pace. He'll jog a 61 minute HM.
Meh it will be a jetlagged tuneup effort, not counting on it being fast
1:04:17
Depends on how fast Salazar is telling him to run. Definitely capable to run sub 60 if all out effort.
Why is Rupp racing a half marathon 2 weeks before Boston? Running the NYC Half would have been a better choice.
Salazar raced a 1/2 2 weeks before his Boston Win. Nuff said.
DNS is the most likely result for Rupp.
If going for a fast time: 59:06 (58:51 if conditions, pace outstanding)
If tempoing: 1:00:55
I expect the upcoming USADA announcement will mentally effect his performance. He'll have to say goodbye to his coach for 4 years and that's a tough pill to swallow even for Galen.
59:59. Faster than the slow Robertson
I believe Mary Cain will take it all in the elite women division. Bet on it.
1.01.00 - 1.02.00
Not that he isn't capable, but I don't think we see Rupp below 60 min, nor will we see him to go for the win. Instead, I bet this is a controlled 61-63 min effort. Probably just a tad faster than his planned Boston pace. Same for Jordan (look for her to in about 71-72 minutes). They are getting good tempo work, in a race environment, while probably both picking up some nice appearance fees.

Would that be the upcoming announcement from esrlier this year, or last year, or the year before that, or?
One of these is not like the others...

He's British. He moved to Britain when he was 8 and started running at school in London.
