Background: I'm currently serving in the Army as a medic. Graduated with a BS in Exercise Science in July 2014, joining the service shortly thereafter. While in college I interned at a youth athlete training facility for about 350 hours, as well as volunteering at a gym and leading exercise sessions with older adults in a retirement home. Since being in the military, I have taken my GRE (158 verbal, 156 quantitative, 4.5 writing), worked at a PT clinic for 4 months, in addition to my military duties. And today I finally knocked out my CSCS. I'm also CPR/AED and NREMT qualified through 2019.
I get out in a year and a half, and I am supposed to deploy over the summer to Afghanistan. What else can I do between now and my ETS date to increase my chances of getting some sort of strength and conditioning job when I leave?
