Jan 30 - Yates is fired by Trump
Jeff Sessions is nominated for Attorney General is confirmed while denying any interactions with Russians
Feb 13 - Flynn resigns
Feb 16 - Trump holds a press conference denying any ties to Russia by him or his campaign staffers
March 2 - Sessions recuses himself from investigation of Russian meddling after revealing he did meet with a Russian ambassador during the campaign
March 4- Trump tweets that Obama had his wires tapped
March 20 - FBI director James Comey testifies there was no wire tap
May 3 - Comey testifies about his unease about possibly affecting the election with the Hilary email investigation
May 9 - Trump fires Comey. The White House Briefing said that Trump did so at the recommendation of others
May 10 - Trump hosts Russians in office and brags about firing Comey
May 11 - Trump tells NBC's Lester Holt that he was angry with Comey because of the Russia investigation. His idea to fire Comey
May 17 - Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein appoints Robert Mueller to lead the Russia investigation
Aug 3 - Mueller impanels a grand jury
Oct 5 - former Trump staffer Papadopolous pleads guilty to misleading FBI agents. The guilty plea is kept secret until later.
Oct 30 - Indictments are issued for Paul Manafort and Rick Gates who worked on Trump campaign
Dec 1 - Flynn charged with making false statements to the FBI - Pleas expected
