Key takeaway from Cohen guilty pleas-
If Justice Dep't guidelines allowed a sitting president to be indicted (or if Trump had lost election), Trump would be being indicted RIGHT NOW for violating campaign finance violations, along with his co-conspirator, felon Michael Cohen.
Guys, guys, guys- be honest with yourselves and at least admit that the 8 counts (of 18) that Manafort was found guilty on have absolutely nothing to do with President Trump. It was all tax and bank fraud from 2010-2014.
To respond to your "key takeaway"- remember, if Trump had lost, there wouldn't have been an investigation into it in the first place, so he would NOT be indicted even then. The investigation only exists because of the conspiracy against the Trump campaign (and democracy in general). It's undeniable that the evidence related to anything "Russia" has clearly swung in the opposite direction, and is exposing the DOJ/FBI personnel conspiring against Trump. It has become a failed framing attempt.
What you crazed TDS folks don't understand is we don't think these guys are boy scouts, and we aren't defending their morality. We simply find the investigation into Russian Colllluuusssion and Obstruction of Justice comical. It was since day 1, and it still is today.
What we're seeing here is the Investigation into Russian Cooollllluuusion doing what it set out to do though:
Bug the sheeit out of Trump, sow doubt in the mind of the public, catch a few guys doing bad things (most likely tax/laundering/etc...well before the Trump campaign), and then come to the resolution that no one can ever actually prove..... "Russians meddled in our election time frame via social media. They did not collude with the president."
And, the mantra rolls on.....
Mueller never.
Clownpole forever.
