LOL! Well hopefully she can recover. Seems like perhaps she was over training if she was able to come back, run a 15:20 something at the trials and then end up injured yet again. Or overcompensate and the injury popped up elsewhere. Lame.
Another example of a young phenom wasting her career running too hard at too young an age then going to a college that ramped up the distance even more.
Young under developed bodies can not handle the workloads

I have been wondering the same thing. My guess is that she will redshirt indoors and be back for outdoors. Hopefully she will be healthy for outdoors because she will have used up all her redshirts.

it's funny that people often assume Allie was pounding the miles in high school because of how fast she ran....that wasn't the case. She only trained in the off season her last couple of years and maxed out at abut 50mpw I think
She's ready to go for this indoor season. Watch out.

Did you see her latest Instagram post? I think she’s injured yet again. The start list at the UW invite in Seattle this weekend does not have her racing anything. Not again!

It was a terrible decision Allie going to Boise. Ihmels is an idiot who overtrains athletes for immediate results rather than considering a long term progression for his athletes. She should have gone to Oregon.
