The splits for the rabbits/leaders will probably be about:
409 - 56-57
809 - 1:53-1:55
1209 - 2:50-2:52
There are a handful of guys on the performance list that could split a 52-56 off of that pace and run in the mid-to-high 3:40s.
Hunter just needs to hit the line around 2:57 with a lap to go, and he could be under 3:55. Nothing about that seems out of the question to me, and he will be close enough to not be out of the race.
