So a little background, I hobby jog around 17:45 for a 5K. During workouts, races, etc, it's always my breathing holding me back.
For my buddy he says it's always his legs getting tired holding him back.
We talked about it and for him off similar to if I get on the bike and dial up the resistance a bit. My HR will stay fairly low, as will my breathing and my legs will start to burn way before I'm tired cardio wiss.
How come during running my breathing/cardio is the limiting factor? A this normal or are most people like my buddy?
