A few years back, Ashton ran a massive 400 at the end of day one, I think it was at the Mt sac multi, setting the decathlon 400m record. It was invalidated when he didn't do day 2 though. I always thought it was funny he didn't just dog all the events in day two to keep that record. I wonder if he chose not to do that since it is kind of against the spirit of it and didn't want a questionable record to his name.
