Today on my run my right leg achillea and calf felt heavy and very tired, while my left leg felt fine. I didn't notice it until about the third mile, but then pretty soon my shin started hurting because I couldn't really get a good forefoot foot strike. This has started happening recently after I upped my mileage from about 30 to 40mpw and I don't know if it will eventually go away or will only get worse and need a day off. Mostly it's been happening only when I do faster runs. Any advice or experience from this would be much appreciated.
