There's kiplagat, souleiman, wote, Iguider, ingebrigsten, magut, makhloufi, tesfaye, cheboi, and manzano. 1 souleiman 2 kiplagat 3 kiprop

not sure why people would bet against kiprop. although he has a bad race sometimes it's kinda like betting against bekele in his prime

He's already lost a couple of times this season.
He made me look like a fool in Zurich when I predicted he would WIN the DL title. He couldn't handle the traffic and after one lap he stopped and took a big crap on the track.
You never know with Kiprop. Usually he will win big but sometimes he decides to lose big instead. No middle ground with him.
I don't recall him losing twice in a row though.
Ingebrigtsen is out.
Is the field juicy or juiced:)
Makhloufi for the win.
Souleiman is gonna burn dat track up
Correction: Ingebrigtsen is running.

He lost to El Guerrouj the year he broke the 5000m world record.

Kiprop is doing neither. Kiplagat even has a better PR now.
If Kiprop had a rabbit for 1400m in 2013 like Kiplagat did in Monaco 2014, he would have run 3:26.

Eugene DL 7th, Rome DL 3rd
It would be better if you predicted who WILL win instead of one person he won't win.
KB has lost a total of 32 times in his whole life (including defeats as a junior and post era defeats) I'd like you to look at kiprop's all time wins to losses record and not just judge based on one race. Also, tactics ARE PART of a race. Kiprop chose to go slightly faster than world record pace in Monaco, and instead o slowing down to save himself for the last lap, he tried to hold on so that he could get the record. Naturally, he has nothing in the last 100m and gets out kicked by Silas, who hung in 3rd the whole race until the last 200m. Kiprop is currently not unbeatable, nor is he even close to being GOAT. He is the overall best of his time. Kiprop's wins per season (1500m and 800m) : 2011: 3 2012: 4 2013: 4 2014: 4 15 wins in 4 seasons. Average 3.75 wins per season. Kiprop's record against souleiman: 7:6 kiprop's record against kiplagat: 12:13 he's not dominantnew englander wrote:

Brodellero you may have called it right.
However, I think the pace will not be red hot, in which case Kiprop has the best chance to win.
Lap 3 will be interesting; we may see Rupp on Souleiman's shoulder. But Rupp likely runs the last 300 in 42 with the 1500 studs hitting 40-point.

ACCURATE PREDICTION!!!!!!
lol at you for thinking rupp could stay on souleiman's shoulder. He will be gone way before the last lap and ayanleh can kick the last 300 sub 40 off any pace, rupp is gonna look stupid
'Juicy 1500m field'
Do you speak like that in real life

Only way Rupp "will be gone way before the last lap" is if he starts from the back. Rupp could handle 3:30 pace at a minimum at least until the last lap. Guy has opened up outdoors in 3:34 before.

kinda?
KINDA? lol.
I'm very curious how you define "kinda." No disrespect to Kiprop, he's a tremendous athlete.

no Kiprop needed for this
Bekele in his prime practically never lost a cross-country race. He was just SO dominant--in smaller meets and in the big championships. On the track at his 5k and 10k specialties at his height, also dominant. Even in the twilight of his height, around the time of the Beijing Olympics, he was still dominating. I remember the year he won the Golden League, thinking to myself how hard he had to work, all those 12:50-something races, just for a measly portion of the prize.
Runners dominating like Bekele, in this day and age and with this competition, is really mindblowing if you think about it.
