So would've been closer to 2:40 on a fast course.... not bad.
hmmm... not possible. this guy is full of crap.
Ah no, well he's taking care of all the fundamentals, you know, like putting fuel in the tank. You must be an unfit inflamed Paleo Primal coffee swilling stinky motherf'r.
I agree with the full of crap: "it ain't going to happen" !
I've been following this guy for a couple years now and I'm pretty confident he is legitimate. He cycles quite a bit and was a semi-pro cyclist but I really do think averages no more than 10 mpw running. He has a pretty unique diet and I'm sure a hell of a lot of genetic talent. You can see from his splits that his legs were falling apart in the last couple miles because of lack of training. I bet he could run close to 2:30 after a good 6 month training block
Full of crap!! A marathon is 26.2 miles so he would have at least run 26.2mpw. Is 3 hours actually his 10 mile time?
He has run 2:50 or better on multiple occasions, his best being 2:48 on a falter course. He's in the results and know one is accusing him of cutting the course.

I am not accusing him of cutting the course. I am just saying he didn't run 10mpw. He would have run 26.2mpw at least on marathon week and not 10mpw. It would be impossible to run 10mpw in marathon week when he has to run 26.2 in one day. So in one week of his marathon schedule, he ran at least 26.2 miles thus nullifying his claim of 10mpw.
It's definitely possible if you use biking to supplement the running. Seems like he's cycling 90% of the time and just running to get used to the form and function of it.
The cycling definitely builds his leg muscles and works his aerobic systems. But you'd have to cycle a heck of a lot to do what he's doing. And from the looks of it, he does. So much time.
Even with all that work, as one of the previous posters noted, his legs fell apart the last few miles. Not enough race or distance-specific training. But it's definitely possible.
let's run could learn a lot from this guy. y'all tunnel vision fags living off animal fat and protein. you wonder why you're sloppy and need caffeine to get by day to day.

Wait .... There exist people who don't need caffeine to get through the day?

He could learn a lot from us here at letsrun. My Marathon PR is way faster than his. Maybe he should try some animal fat and protein and he might be as fast as me. Running more miles would help too.

Lol Jamin.
YEs, there are. I've never had a drop of coffee in my life. Let alone caffeine. I always have too much energy anyways.
This guy exaggerates everything he posts. Highly unlikely he posts all his mileage on Strava. 750ml is not a quart. The fastest Kenyans are racing in flats, not bulky trainers. Take everything he claims with a grain of salt.
Yes, your marathon PR is faster than his... The point is he averaged 10 MPW leading up to this race, and that's more than usual for him. You couldn't get close to that sort of efficiency, b/c you choose to ignore how the East Africans eat - high carbs low fat, low protein. Typical boneheaded American.
A lot of US elites on social media seem drugged up on the stuff.
I'd like to see how society as a whole could cope going caffeine free, ie the common 'I can't function without my coffee'.... pathetic.

I couldn't care less if he finished 1 second behind me running 1 lap of the track a week. I still would have beat him.
"There is someone out there training when you are not and when you race him, he will beat you"

Do you know of any pet friendly (specifically cat friendly) hotels in Lincoln? Or is that just your LRC name and you aren't from there?
Ah, I've never left NY State. Just a nod to City and Colour 'Comin Home'. From now on, my name shall be earnestly titled Massapequa, NY.
