Hi all!
I am currently recovering from an ankle sprain while trying to train for the NYC Marathon. Ive had to lay off running for almost 4 weeks now, and may need one or more two weeks off. I was running close to 30 miles a week pre-strain and felt pretty strong. I've started aqua jogging in a 4ft pool (I'm 5'1) to try to maintain my fitness until I can run again. I wear an aqua jogging belt but I still find myself slightly touching the bottom of the pool and bending my knees more than I would if I were running outside to keep my self from touching the bottom. Is this okay, or should I just stick to swimming and cycling until I can run again.
