I think she may have dropped out.
she DID finish....but fell to the ground?
very hot?

Given the sheer number of lapped runners, it had to be difficult to keep track (no pun intended) of them. I wouldn't be surprised if a mistake is made. The online feed, by the way, was terrible--quite hard to see.

Yeah the feed has been choppy.
Hope she made it, but I am thinking she didn't.

Was it just hot for Jordan? Or was the temperature the same for everyone?
there were runners falling out everywhere....a lot of the runners were taking in a lot of WATER!

Gee, what a novel idea. Maybe this will occur to Hasay next time she races in warm weather.

Maybe it will occur to you to STFU next time you have something stupid to offer.
whatever...I have been following jordans career for a long time.....she has never ran well in the HEAT.....that is NOT good for someone who runs the 10000 meter.
Anyone know how the race played out? Given the weather, you'd assume it was a jog-fest until late in the race.

As for the heat, they went through 5k in over 18 minutes, so its not like the pace was grueling.
what was the race time temp?
thanks for the results
THREE runners from Iowa State are going...props to them
Heaven forbid we have to hear a little less of the Oregon fanboys of A Duck and pac12fan.

good stuff.
this is one of the problems with that perfect west coast/oregon weather. it might be great for year round training and all that but if that is all you are exposed to you fall apart in the heat or extreme cold.
poor jordan, i can remember when her mother pulled her of a race because of the heat....after starting with 5:01 first mile....in HS
Jordan has never done well in the HEAT....doesn't fair well for her
maybe time to consider the 1500 again
We've had a pretty big jump in temperature in the last few days. It was 95 in Houston today. Austin was a bit cooler and drier, but still harsh for those who aren't prepared for it.
Still...it doesn't look like it affected other "northern" schools like Iowa State.
She still has the 5k.
