"Cabin Fever" is probably the worst movie I have paid to see.
"Cabin Fever" is probably the worst movie I have paid to see.
lol, I actually enjoyed Cabin Fever quite a bit.
I really hated "The Story of Us". I'm sure there are worse movies out there though.
Birdemic - Shock and Terror. So bad it's good.
Deathbed: The Bed that Eats
Jack and Jill.
This turkey won a record 10 razzies, sweeping every single razzie category.
Sandler won both worst actor and worst actress awards in a single movie. He also won a worst screen couple razzie playing opposite himself. This would be tough to beat.
"Dirty Love" starring Jenny McCarthy. Horrible acting and a few scenes too gross to describe. However, Jenny McCarthy looked so good that I was compelled to watch the entire movie.
Under the heading "so bad it's good", I nominate "Shark Attack 3". Absolutely hilarious.
I actually rather like extremely cheesy B-movies. They know their place in the world, and don't expect people to take them seriously. What I don't care for are movies that keep hitting us over the head with the idea that they are High Art.
I still think The English Patient is the worst movie I sat all the way through.
I'm surprised LRers didn't like Drive. Gosling did a really good job of portraying an awkward guy who doesn't can't hold conversations, lives alone in a big city, and doesn't have many friends. Maybe it just hit too close to home?

I had a particularly crappy day yesterday so I ordered sushi and decided to watch TV. Victory! I found a movie called 88 Minutes with Al Pacino, directed by Jon Avnet:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0411061/I don't recall ever seeing something that BAD...! The acting is abysmal, especially Alicia Witt. She uses the same expression of shock in every scene, and just stands there, not doing anything with her body.
And Al Pacino is a hoot! Looking 100 years old, with an explosion of black/blue hair, like an old lady.
The dialogue is abysmal, the editing choppy, and the directing cliché. I also loved the costume design--everybody is badly dressed with oversized jackets. Awesome! I felt in good spirits after watching that excellent bad movie. Much better than a comedy to put you in a good mood.
Any other good bad-movies to recommend?
88 Minutes isn't that bad. It isn't a great movie as far as Pacino goes, so Righteous Kill and Jack & Jill are much much worse.
I can't believe no one has mention Dreamcatcher, that movie is awful.

Hey man, you have to check this podcast out, it's one of my favorites. They just did "88 Minutes," too:

I was going to post this. I only listen to 2 podcasts and this is one. They make fun of bad movies and it is hilarious. I also recommend Cool as Ice starring ice cube and all so on the podcast How Did this get made.
That movie blow moose dung drops. You want something even worst? Try a crappy movie with Pacino and De Niro from around the same time. Wow. Those 2 should just give up already. They have enough money to sit home and jerk off or jerk each other off while eating caviar balls off Alicia Witt's crack.

No way. Slasher movie with bouncing titties can't be that bad.

I thought the movie 'Drive' was about as bad as a movie could get. Ryan Gosling has no acting skills and does not pass as a tough guy at all. I watched the entire movie, thinking that at any moment, it would get interesting. It never did.
I too am surprised to hear this. Drive is one of my favourite films.
Using the "paid to see" criterion, I guess I'll go with "Tree of Life." Self-indulgent garbage.
No, wait--on second thought, maybe gotta go with "Prospero's Books," from about 20 years ago. Not a widely seen movie, and there's a reason why. Considering how much we pay to see a movie in a theater in NYC, it's pretty rare for anyone to walk out, but the aisles were jammed for that one.
And it was so sad, because the movie was really well done, with great production values and actors, innovative techniques, etc. It was a beautifully made, absolutely terrible, film. Gack.

LOL
Dragon Wars: D-War
Terribly acted, bad guys look like the evil-doers in power rangers, terrible special effects, pathetic story-line and very bad script. This one was hilarious to watch though! Definitely recommended if you're looking to watch time travel and giant lizards destroy large cities with corny actors and love scenes. Some real "confucian" wisdom in this movie. Watched it and laughed really hard. "What were they thinking?"
The Wedding Crashers
Sure it's not the worst ever but should be done under the trades description act. 20 mins of crashing weddings (with little imagination or actual humour) followed by a lame love story for the rest of the film
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
