What's the happs at TCU and Clemson positions?
What's the happs at TCU and Clemson positions?
It is 2012 and you guys still on race? I would love for you to reveal your name. Your a coward so I know you won't! You give us Caucasian coaches a bad rap, all of us don't think like you! Your just another jealous pig that talks bad about all coaches because no one wants to hire your sorry @$$!
I couldn't agree more with your statement. Ignorance is a terrible thing.
I will however correct your spelling. In your third sentence you should have used the contraction "you're" which stands for "you are". And by bad "rap", you must mean "rep" which is shortened for reputation.
It is 2012 and I still think people who cannot spell or construct sentences properly are also ignorant.
Do anyone know if Coach Eskind who was at UVa land a coaching job?
If any top notch sprint coaches are looking for a new gig check out PSU!
Not only will you be stepping into a 3:01.x 4x4 who are all returning, but no that JoePA is gone you will have full access to all of the football sprinters.
Zoom, zoom.
PSU sounds like a great place to try and bring recruits in right now.
Any word on

Does anyone have any idea of what they are doing at Clemson? When they are trying to fill the positions? What candidates they are looking at? Salaries...just any info about clemson someone knows would be great!
Yes, what's happening at Clemson? Who's getting interviews?
What's going on at Colorado School of the Mines? Houston? Princeton? Campbell? Is Pigg going to keep the staff at North Florida?
Any truth to Princeton Rumor that Vig is getting the job?
What is wrong with working for Coach Johnson? He seems like a hard working individual who has built Clemson into a National contender...They win ACC's indoor and outdoor like nothing. Why wouldn't a person want to be apart of a successful spot like that to receive exposure? Every job has it's ups and downs but winning and competing for a National Championship does not happen to every program. People need to stop being so petty and understand that in order to be successful being an a-hole may be necessary at times.
Princeton: thank you for actually hiring someone in a timely manner. (not a vig hater or fan) but appreciate how quick they were able to move. Everyone else that is still taking forever, take notes.
The coaches thread is now showing back up on the index. For the last week, it only existed if you had it bookmarked.Sorry about that.On a separate note:

I agree with you on that one. What is it that takes most schools so long? HR?
Admittedly, the season is about to start so they have to hire someone but it took about 3 months to hire my replacement.

I don't know. With the $60 million penality, Penn State is going to tighten its belt somewhere and most likely in the non-revenue sports. If you are used to spending a certain amount annually and now its short $12 million a year for 5 years, then something is going to change.
A new jumps coach and now a new sprints coach. What makes it a great place right now? I'm not saying its a bad place. Its a very good program and Beth and her staff have done a wonderful job. But what makes it a great place right now?
sarcasm, southtown.....sarcasm

And that hire still hasn't been announced on the Cornell website.
As for people asking about Mines, here's what I've heard:
-Postion is not posted anywhere
-People that are known to have inquired have not heard back from AD
-Team goes to camp this week or next and Chris Siemers (Old coaches brother, former volunteer or part-time assistant) is expected to be there.
-Head coach on website is listed as TBA
-They will be required to do interviews at some point, per Colorado law
Pros of job:
-Awesome location
-The cupboard is stocked
Cons of job:
-Very little money to work with (Is this true?, lots of renovation there, new track, etc., hard to believe they aren't at max scholarships.)
-Very hard to get into school there and stay in school
-Above two points make recruiting difficult
-Success is under-appreciated because of Western and Adams in conference.
Contenders on the Womens side only. Men are on the downhill slide. There is a reason that almost every coach has left even the ones he hired.
The rumor I heard is that Chris will be the interim at Mines. Just a rumor though as I also didn't receive a reply from the AD when I reached out to him.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
