I'm planning on running the Philadelphia Half Marathon on Sept 20th. However, I just developed an ingrown toenail yesterday. It's painful walking around but when I went running today it wasn't bad because of the cushioning in my running shoe. I know this is something that should be taken care of soon but I'm afraid if I have it taken care of before the race, I won't be able to run. I have to make it the next two weeks of training and run the race.
I've started soaking my foot in warm water with Epsom Salts and just bought some Dr Scholls Ingrown Toenail Pain Reliever.
Any advice?
