Oh, I see, it is a Southern mistake about items related to winter:

And, Runner's World would not be telling you that Karnazes split the 5K in 23:38. This after doing a radio interview on WEEI at 6:30 this morning and then running from Boston to the start.

Let's see, there is "toboggan," as in sled, which is actually found in dictionaries, and has a logical etymology, coming from a micmac word for sled, and then there is "toboggan," a southern slang term for a tuque or ski hat (which people wear so often in the south), and is derived from...?
