There is an interesting side discussion in the "Attacked..." thread regarding who gets the taunts and who doesn't. I thought we could pick it up here and maybe discover something interesting and useful in the process. The working hypothesis is that older runners don't experience the taunts, that it's mostly generated toward those 15-30 years old. So, just list your age, where you live, the size of your community, where you run, when you run, and indicate what sort of crappola (if any) you have to deal with while running.
I'm 47 and male. I never have problems with rude comments or things being thrown at me while out for a run. People are generally friendly and wave or say hello. I live in central NY outside a city of around 50-60k people (city proper). I run mostly on country roads and city/town trails, usually early morning and sometimes mid to late afternoon.
