Track events start on Tuesday and there will be some star power in the 100/200 with hometown phenom Andre De Grasse. The men's 5,000 (Cam Levins, Garrett Heath, David Torrence, Juan Luis Barrios) figures to be exciting, as does the women's 800, which features three sub-1:58 women, led by Alysia Montaño. Plus Andrew Wheating, Kyle Merber and Nate Brannen in the 1500, PPP in the TJ & David Oliver in the 110 hurdles.

Sarah Brown won the 1500 in 4:07.67, while Sheila Reid was 6th (4:11.38). Anthony Romaniw beat Harun Abda in the 800 with 1:47.95, and back in 7th and 1:49.72 was Andrew Wheating. Ross Proudfoot won the 1500 (3:39.62) over Nate Brannen and Wallace Spearmon won the 200 in 20.77.

After some recent struggles, can Nick Symmonds return to form? What about Galen Rupp, Cam Levins and the NOP? Are former NCAA stars Andrew Wheating and Robby Andrews back? The highlight is an incredibly deep 1,500 which contains former NCAA champs Wheating, Andrews, Leo Manzano, Mac Fleet, Nate Brannen and a slew of others.

Track fans, this one is loaded with former NCAA stars. That's the good news. The bad news is you gotta choose, this or Mayweather - Pacquiao. More bad news, HSer Grant Fisher might go sub-4 but it won't count - unless Stanford changes from a 1,500 to a mile in the next 24 hours.

McNamara runs 4:03 to beat Leo Manzano by less than a second with Trevor Dunbar 3rd. Gabriele Grunewald wins the women's race in 4:32 over Heather Kampf and Sarah Brown (both 4:33).

The men's 1,500m qualifying was cut-throat with only 2 people in each race guaranteed a spot in the final. Silas Kiplagat didn't run poorly but is out, Nick Willis looked great and revealed he was sick at Millrose, but kept it quiet because he had tweeted at Galen Rupp. Will Leer advanced and Lopez Lomong didn't.

Saturday's 2014 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix features a spectacular men's set of mid-d and distance events. Seriously, it's hard to imagine a better set of men's fields this early in the year. Galen Rupp will take on the true milers in a fantastic men's mile that features three Olympic silver medalists, Ryan Hill and Sam Chelanga will battle with three 5,000 medalists in a stacked men's 3,000, and there is a world record attempt in the 4 x 800.
