Deep American Fields Announced For The 2019 Chicago Marathon With Dathan Ritzenhein And Amy Cragg Joining Previously Announced Galen Rupp And Jordan Hasay
Another top names announced include US marathon champs Brogan Austin and Emma Bates as well as Stephanie Bruce, Lindsay Flanagan, Chris Derrick, Diego Estrada and Parker Stinson.

January 14: Ten Past Champions Headline Super Deep Fields For 2018 Chevron Houston Marathon And Aramco Houston Half Marathon
In the women's half, Molly Huddle and Jordan Hasay take on US soil record holder Mary Wacera (66:29) and Edith Chelimo (65:52). Alex Korio Oloitiptit (58:51) leads a men's half field with Olympic silver medalist Feyisa Lelisa, Callum Hawkins, Stephen Sambu, Diego Estrada, Sam Chelanga, Luke Puskedra, and Bernard Lagat. In the men's marathon, defending champ Dominic Ondoro takes on Bazu Worku (2:05:25) while last year's women's half winner Veronicah Nyaruai Wanjiru makes her marathon debut against Mamitu Daska (2:21:59).

Two-Time Olympic Medalist Galen Rupp and American Marathon Debut Record Holder Jordan Hasay Headline Strong Field of American Runners at the 40th Annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon
Other top Americans include Luke Puskedra, Diego Estrada, Andrew Bumbalough, Sam Chelanga, Chris Derrick making his debut, Becky Wade and Joan Benoit Samuelson going for the first sub-3 hour marathon by a 60-year-old.

2016 Bank of America Chicago Marathon Men's Preview: Dickson Chumba Goes for the Repeat as Americans Luke Puskedra, Elkanah Kibet & Diego Estrada Do Battle
No one has repeated in Chicago since Sammy Wanjiru in 2010 (the final race Wanjiru would ever run). Chumba is the best of a shallow men's elite field that also features two-time London champ Tsegaye Kebede and two-time world champ Abel Kirui looking to resurrect their careers.

Kimetto faces defending champ Dickson Chumba, 2012 champion Tsegaye Kebede, 2008 Olympic 10,000m bronze medalist Micah Kogo and Stephen Sambu making his marathon debut. Luke Puskedra, Nick Arciniaga and Diego Estrada head the American charge. World half-marathon record holder Florence Kiplagat leads the women's field against Boston champion Atsede Baysa and 2:23-women Valentine Kipketer and Gulume Chala.

True will face Olympic silver medalist Dejen Gebremeskel, Stephen Sambu and Diego Estrada while Huddle is up against Kim Smith and Buze Diriba (14:50 PB). Also Saturday, Chris O'Hare, Trevor Dunbar, Dawit Seyaum (2nd at World Indoors) and Heather Kampf lead the way in the BAA Mile.
