UTMB next.
And Camille Herron has to stay home in Oklahoma too.
Well if you followed Jim on strava at all you would realize he’s been injured and only biking anyway. So maybe he’s not devastated
Is it confirmed he's injured or did he just shut down because he's smart enough to know that Comrades would be postponed? In the past, he takes downtime in between seasons.
Anyone with half a brain already knew it would be postponed.
Any other HOKA people throwing down runs on Strava?
I brought this exact thing up weeks ago and someone said maybe HOKA told their athletes to stop broadcasting their running in solidarity to support social distancing/the lockdowns.

Might be an individual decision. Looking at Strava, mixed results in for Hoka people in Flagstaff. Tim Freriks hasn't posted anything in a month. Fauble and Sid Vaughn are running. Kellyn Taylor has been indoor cycling.
Should read, "Walmsley Stays Home Devastated."

What a “maratho”
Goes home devastated? He’s already home
I watched a video that Zola wanted to run Comrades this year in memory of her brother who committed suicide last year. They both ran two Comrades, and she wanted them to run one together.

That’s weird cause she’s in Alamosa, Colorado.

This is a direct quote from his strava comments. He's not injured.
"Right now, I’m just changing things up a bit with the indoor cycling. Zwift makes an indoor trainer a lot easier to enjoy. No injuries, just less running. I don’t see races happening until potentially late this year, at the earliest. The situation is dynamic and changes all the time. Arizona is going on shelter in place today, and this is just a tool to stay fit during all of this. I don’t see much of a need to be fast right now, so I’m taking the time to do something else for a little bit. Hope you and everyone are staying active as best you can and doing it safely as well ?"

Same thing. Alamosa is the Oklahoma of Colorado.
To bad we can see that she get Steyned at Comrades.

Nah , he is smart . He knew it was not going to happen . That’s why he has stepped down the training . Dude is a world class talent with a 175 IQ.

I went from Ohio to Alamosa in the summer of 1983. Passing through Oklahoma, it was about 100°. Got to Alamosa and it was raining and 50°. Not real comparable.

I am not talking about the climate. Of course it's colder because it is 7-8000ft high. But it has the same backwards Redneck feel like Oklahoma. It's not the kind of Colorado, Colorado is famous for.
Dang!! ?

Are you talking about the Hispanic rednecks or the Caucasian rednecks?
