That there are a handful of protected athletes who are allowed to dope.
Other elites were paid off to throw Boston 2014 so Men could win. Wilson Chebet was a 205 runner and won Amsterdam 2-3x closing in 615-20, but somehow couldn't close on a late 30s guy running 210 pace at the end. Chebet is not a, "go out slow and die" guy.
...so Meb...
Exercise induced- asthma is just a legal excuse to take PEDs.

Yes this was a fun one. It usually was El G, Geb, Bolt, Bekele and Wariner who were in the crosshairs of the alleged conspiracy. Note: The AIU has cast some doubt with Kiprop and other busts.

Keep your medals, go home and never race again.
Ollan Cassell knows a lot of secrets.
One of the few conspiracy theories I actually believe in.
Several years ago in a Reddit AMA, David Torrence (RIP) said there was an American runner whom everyone knew was doping but to whom they were turning a blind eye because he was a charismatic, likable guy who was good for the sport. I'm pretty sure he was talking about Lagat.
I'm a huge Lagat fan but I believe it. It makes too much sense for it not to be true. Especially when you consider Lagat's performances in the Golden Age of Running in the late '90s and early '00s, when all the top guys were doped to the gills and cranking out world records like nobody's business.

I would really hate for this to be true, especially because he is such an inspiration for keeping his track speed up to age 40. :/

All of the Chinese women's distance records from the mid-90s are fake and were produced by a conspiracy involving the entire Chinese federation. I believe that 100%. I'll dig up an old thread on the topic later.
That’s the best one.
I think they started at the wrong line for every race.
The 10,000 had consecutive 1000m splits that were 15s + faster than average followed by a slower but still quick final 1000.
As if they were 900m splits mixed in.
And the final 3000 of that race was faster than the open 3000 world record.
They started at the 200m start and ran 24.5 laps.
5 women then broke the open 3000m record.
They started at the steeple start of an outside water jump, so following lane one would be a shorter distance.
In the 1500 they started at the break line, ahead of the real start line.
That explains going out in 57 for a short first lap and then averaging 62/63 the rest of the way to run 3:50.
Makes sense, right?
No one really pays much attention to where a distance starts.
There are no complete videos of any of these races- all world records.
Including the 3k semi, Wang beat 4 distance world records in one week.
Come on, man!
Do you have all of the splits and a link to where you got them from?
A friend said that after Tuttle qualified in the marathon in 84, he had to "prove his fitness" A couple times before the Olympics. He, my friend, believed Nike was trying to get Tuttle removed from the team.
I've heard the conspiracy of Stanford's track being short.
110m and 100m Hurdle distance discrepancies have to do with stride length.
Centro knew Salazar was about to get busted and switched to BTC
there are certain star athletes that are too big to be busted and as a result protected
some big names who were caught were given a "yellow card" pretty much told we caught you but we are not going to bust you just stop it. Funny how some people after a great season or 2 all of a sudden performance just drop off
El G was busted but it was covered up as along as he retired
The 72 Olympic Marathon course was changed due to the fact that part of the course ran off the edge of the Earth
