Tony Stewart is on EPO. He's making a mockery of everyone else in the Nextel cup. No way he's clean.

I would agree. But then again--I think that Fat Tony is actually on Steriods--but he drove away before his "distributor" got to tell him that he was actually supposed to work out.
Now that is a 1500 meter I would like to see:
Fat Tony Stewart
Kurt "Rubberhead" Busch
(I wonder if Miller has realized that the guy they are going to sponsor has a last name of "Busch").
I love NASCAR--but Fat Tony and Busch are losers.
Tony Stewart is not a loser. He is probably the best all-around race car driver on the planet - period. USAC, Indy, stock cars, you name it. He may have an anger management problem, and he may be a bit tubby, but he kicks ass. Kurt Busch is a dweeb.
Just for the record, Alan Webb is the best driver in the world. Just ask the Letsrun crowd.
As a die-hard Jeff Gordon fan, it is really hard to like Tony Stewart at all. I do, however grudginly, have to be a little impressed by his recent hot streak and better control of his temper. My own son, though, won't even set foot inside of a Home Depot!
As for Kurt Busch, some fans at the California 500 last year may have had the right idea. They were handing out flyers showing the resemblence of Kurt Busch to the Keebler elves. I'll never look at him the same again.
actually, as kurt busch's biggest fan, i've always thought he looked more like howdy doody, but that's just me...
Speaking of Gordon, what the heck happened to him? After Stewart wrecked him intentionally several months ago it's been all downhill for old Gordo. I still think he'll make the Chase though.
BTW, Gordon is a decent distance runner in his own right. He regularly does ten mile training runs. Stewart on the other hand has been taking on quite a pudge around the gut lately. He works out by playing poker and drinking a lot of beer. Ah, youth.
Tony stole the juice from Biffle, who stole it from Johnson. Robby Gordon should have his blood check. I don't care if he wins pieces of the Dakar Rally, no way he should finish second with the garbage he drives.
I think Kurt Busch looks more like Alfred E. Neuman from Mad Magagine
Ruth Wysocki rocks!
Jeff Gordon is the best race car driver of all time! It is so cool to see that another runner (famous at that) actually likes NASCAR (enough to go to a race) and likes Jeff Gordon.
"Tub O' Goo" Tony is tearing it up right now--and should be commended.
Even though Jeff got the flat tire yesterday, he still had a good enough finish to gain on 10th place. 62 points out with 4 races to go until the chase. 16 points a race baby!
I am going to send Jeff a little Motley song (Kick Start My Heart!).
Even though I like Jeff--I am "pretty sure" that he doesn't run 10 milers. More like 6. (You would be surprised that a rocker like Nikki knows things like this).
Ruth Wysocki ROCKS!
Thanks - you made my day. Jeff will be back! He's close to the top 10 and could still win it all (since he got ripped off last year).
NASCAR has become our family passion since our son got us hooked 8 years ago. Life in our house stops each week to watch the races, and we now have 2 races every year here in Southern California! We were in Florida in 1999 and the trip to Daytona was the highlight, especially since Gordon had won that year and his car was in the museum. Our son thought it was better than Disney World, or anything else Orlando had to offer.
Ruth--if you ever get a chance--make sure you go to Bristol. (The night race if possible--but the spring race is almost as good). Also, everyone needs to hit the All Star race in Charlotte at least once.
If you ever make it out that way--let me know and we will make sure that you get super star treatment.
I just find it to be totally cool that you like NASCAR and Jeff Gordon! That is SWEET!
I am surprised that more runners are not interested in NASCAR. I thought that it would appeal to their "athletes are supposed to be good people" gene.
Nikki,
Bristol would be great, as would the All Star race. There are so many races I'd like to see in person.
By the way, we adopted a boy from Russia 2 1/2 years ago, and one of the first things he learned to say was, "Number 24 - Jeff Gordon!
