Trump is in trouble with Biden as the nominee, period.
Pennsylvania - Trump won this battleground, big electoral college state in a squeaker in 2016. Biden is going to run his patented "Native son of Scranton, hard scrabble blue collar guy" playbook in PA. Biden wins Pennsylvania in 2020.
Florida - Have you seen the latest polling? Biden has big leads in most and they run even in polls run by more conservative leaning organizations. That is not good news for Trump.
Wisconsin - If the GOP stunt in this battleground yesterday creates a surge in COVID-19 cases, kiss this one goodbye! Clinton barely lost and never campaigned in the state. If Uncle Joe does a late October rally in Milwaukee...
Michigan - Another "just barely" win for Trump in 2016. If "That woman", Governor Gretchen Whitmer turns out the union vote or is the VP candidate, Trump loses Michigan by 3-5%.
Kentucky - Yes! Kentucky. The new Democrat governor is a rock star and is building a huge following with his pandemic response and daily TV briefings that are 180 degrees removed from the WH crap show. Mitch McConnell fatigue and the destruction caused by former Gov. Matt Bevin could swing this state blue. The Northern Kentucky suburbs of Cincinnati, OH put Gov. Beshear over the top. They may also turn out strong for Biden and Lt. Col. Amy McGrath in the Senate race.
Ohio - GOP Governor Mike DeWine is extremely popular and he shut down the Buckeye State very quickly over the objections of the White House. The state still leans GOP but, it could shift towards Biden if union voters are reminded that Trumped bashed DeWine and failed to re-open the shuttered Lordstown GM plant like he promised in early 2017.
