Are you guys still mad about this? Are you still upset when you see small groups of people running together? If not, what exactly has changed since this thread was started?
Per the title, I went on my long run today and I saw a group of about 8 guys also long running. They all looked high school age and were clustered in a tight knit pack. I live in a suburban area in a large Midwestern state. At this point, is this acceptable or just plain stupid? I feel like I should have said something but I kept my mouth shut and ran by them at a careful 6 feet distance.
What a brain washed little fascist Brownshirt you are.

I think that you should keep your fixations of young high school boys out running to yourself. No one likes being perved at.
Why would you bump this old thread from the first month during Covid?
We had no idea what this disease was going to look like, how it was spread, or how bad it would get. The whole society was on lock-down, even in Red states that soon opened up. The OP posted in April of 2020 for goodness sake, cut him some slack.
I agree with you 100% that this is stupid now and yes, I still see people biking with masks on (though never running, thankfully). But I also know that hindsight is 20-20.
p.s. I have two particular training partners who spit and blow their noses the WHOLE TIME when we are running. I hated training with them in the beginning of Covid because there was always a slight mist of spit/snot in the air when I ran behind them. Would that not bother you? We knew nothing about Covid at that point in time. BTW, I usually took the pace and led those runs from the front.
Imagine considering this as a potentially dangerous activity.

These people were idiots who gave into media propaganda that promoted fear and paranoia. The COVID SCAM was the biggest scandal in the history of the world. Everyone that contributed to this criminal fascist nightmare deserves ridicule, now and forever.

Because its DanM and we don't give his spam-posting any notice in the vaccine thread anymore so he has to look for attention elsewhere...
Thank god there were people with brains at the beginning of this. I can remember those first three months feeling like a criminal getting with my group of 4 or 5 friends to go for a long run.
2 weeks to flatten the curve. blah blah blah. as soon as you saw that artificial and arbitrary time frame, it should have been your sign that our leaders were full of SH!T.
just seeing those words, "flatten the curve" gives me ptsd.

It is stupid now and stupid then. You called us ignorant back then, we can call you stupid now lol

You and others in the group could have told those two to stay in the back. You expect your story to be taken seriously ? Are you saying it was a requirement for you to run with these people ? You "led those runs from the front" to avoid the spit and snot of inconsiderate runners ?
Silly made up nonsense that proves the Covid lunatics have NOTHING left.

Imagine how they feel now that they know their magic masks didn't work and that every time they were "taking COVID seriously" at the grocery store or in their "bubble", they were actually playing a part in what at that point was the inevitable spread of the virus.
Once the Wuhan lab leak occurred (funded by the NIH through the Eco Health Alliance), a lot of people were going to die no matter what... Our leaders just weren't going to tell us that. So magic face coverings and social distancing rituals it was! Much like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, it served no purpose other than to show people things were "being done"!

I wanted to run with my training partners and I wasn't going to stop running during Covid. But at the time (April 2020), none of us really knew what the hell was going on. I still don't like running behind those two guys (because they can't stop spitting during runs), but that doesn't make me a lunatic. You might be the lunatic if that doesn't seem gross to you.
Also, I think the definition of a "covid lunatic" is someone like you who is still thinking about covid in 2023. Dude, time to move on. Normal people are running big miles and dealing with new and exciting issues in the world. Covid is so 2020...
I got vaccinated and got the boosters and frankly fell for the whole covid lie, hook, line, and sinker. I thought I was protected my children and my elderly parent (they are at risk with comorbidities, by the way). I thought I was helping to shield the frontline workers, the hospital nurses and doctors, and the frontline workers. And for the most part, I just about completely forgot about the whole thing and got on with my life.
But I know that is all wrong - all I was doing was lining the pockets of big pharma and paving the way for big govt. to rule out lives. G_D DAM IT!
How can I undo all the harm I have done? I am considering moving to one of those hellhole cities on the West Coast or maybe Manhattan or Boston, and festering there with the crime, corruption, drug addictions, and more bad bad stuff, but I'm not sure I can afford it because it seems that just about everybody would like to live there! But I think I will and suffer in all that lib_tard squalor, just to punish myself.
Am I on the right track to reversing everything I've done wrong? I know it won't be easy, but it might just be a start.

I see people all over wearing masks still... Your people. The CDC still recommends that anyone 6 months and up get regular mRNA vaccinations despite the growing body of evidence regarding vaccine injuries, especially myocarditis and pericarditis in young men. So no... This isn't over.

Why bump it? Perspective.
Nah, it's activists being activists, stroking their confirmation bias.
