Afraid of 10 million lost jobs (6% of the workforce) in just two weeks- and all of the resulting misery?
Yes.
The Surgeon-General has said we have arrived at "a Pearl Harbor moment", and that "this week will be the hardest in many Americans' lives". You should contact him and tell him that it's just the flu.
Yeah...right; the Surgeaon-General was just busted when he slipped up and gave up the game in an interview the other day with Chris Wallace:
https://youtu.be/CvHp5Cy12T0"Even in the worst projections, more people are going to die from cigarette smoking than from #CoronaVirus” this year."
Well...the sheep have been fooled. Lol.
Fearmongering on the people = power & control.
Power is intoxicating.

I said talking "as though" you are a schoolteacher. It's called a simile. I didn't say you were a schoolteacher. Not too bright, are you?
Correct...I'm not too bright, that's why I ask so many questions...I'm trying to understand this whole situation. But I am smart enough to see the inconsistencies between what one part of the country is saying about wearing masks and on the same day others in the field have a totally different opinion. I can listen to both sides without cursing out those that I don't agree with unlike you who isn't too polite, are you?
Politely - there aren't two sides. There is the information we get from a community of medical experts - from around the world. And then there is ignorance, conspiracy theories and disinformation - which costs lives. They aren't equal.

Here in MA....parking lots to beaches closed down last Friday.
Now curfews in some towns, talk of requiring masks to go outside.
The Hell with this nonsense.
I'm perfectly fine with you ignoring the closures and the need for masks and going down to your local hospital that you claim are empty and wandering around the halls.

Your spelling aside - the choice of name is clearly facetious. But you are probably correct.

That warrants that every opinion is worth respecting. Some aren't - including your talking as though you are a schoolteacher correcting students. So - politely - f*ck off.
Another screenshot to add to the list. You will soon be banned. :)
You mean no one says that kind of thing here? It occurs so often I thought it was a requirement.

Didn’t realize. You are very clever!

I dont dispute what the medical experts tell us, unlike you jerks that think you know better than them.
Did you just dismiss the threat in Jan when the WHO shouted their garbage advice and played the whole thing down.?
Yeah and 60% of those deaths are in one state, which is even more focused in one city. All I have to say is: as long as you MFers from New York don't spread it everywhere, the rest of us should be fine.

There is info given to us thru the lens of the oligarch owned media presented as a consensus of the mythical "community of medical experts".
There are those who believe the narrative with no skepticism and there are people who think

You're just like Allen. Everyone who believes an expert is a sheep unless it's the "expert" you approve of, then it's "free thinking".

Source? I've tried to look for data like this, and can't find it consolidated well.
I see in this, and other threads, the "we are under reporting COVID death" crowd posting through out. Usually, with these types, they are serial projectors, it's almost certain we are doing the opposite.
Holy sh*t, you're comparing cigarette smoking deaths to COVID-19 deaths?! Absolutely worthless comparison.

Yep..."holy sh*t" with the crap going on with this "end of the world" virus. Here's some more for you:
https://blog.nomorefakenews.com/2020/04/05/covid-here-come-the-antibody-tests-quick-easy-and-insane/During the 2018-19 flu season in the US alone, running from October to May, there were more than 35.5 million flu illnesses, over 16.5 million medical visits, about 490,600 hospitalizations, and around 34,200 deaths — with no fear-mongering pandemic headlines.
Please release the names of those 34,200 dead so we can corroborate and confirm. Thank you.

Whether or not social distancing is the correct decision, comparing cigarette smoking (a lifestyle choice that isn't contagious) to COVID-19 is asinine.

it's ironic that the people calling everyone sheep, also use the same set of talking points as fox news

Yes.
By what possible measure could the number of Covid-19 deaths in the US be described as "currently declining"?
You're right, in the US it's a one day decline but a decent one AND deaths in almost every major country have declined for the last few days. And worldwide yesterday was 1,200 below three days ago. It's early to officially call the top but it's looking like one....
