I haven't had a chance to look into this, but I'm guessing that German (and Scandinavian) death-rate is completely fake. It's so far out of line with everything else, it just makes no sense at all.
It probably turns out there's some idiotic quirk to the way they're recording things that's making them fail to count most of the CV deaths.
The same could be said of the biggest anomaly: Italy.
Italy has admitted they haven't counted all the deaths. More people are dying but they were not tested. So, they were not included in the numbers. They are over run with patients in some areas. Why waste the time and resources for a statistic when others need help?
Iran is in worse shape than Italy. Same with them, no tests, no help, no true numbers.
Germany and the Nordic countries are not truly overwhelmed yet. Hopefully they stay that way.
The US doesn't have very accurate numbers yet either. With more testing our numbers will go up at an alarming rate. Hopefully the US takes this more seriously. Where I work, we will have our temps taken before we are let in the building. Anyone sick or comes in sick gets 2 weeks off. Some departments are not allowed to even have any contact with another anymore.
