But hey, he is young and he can do whatever he wants.
In a couple of years this will backfire.
What's unhealthy about it? Sounds fine to me. Are you vegan or something?
Pizza, beer, yogurt, granola and ice cream are what I read. All pretty bad. bad fats and lots of carbs, sugar and alcohol, sugar, sugar and bad fats, sugar.
Pizza, yogurt, and some granolas can work in moderation for people. and occasional indulgences. It does not sound like the foundation of a healthy diet.[/quote]
Your opinion. There's no food that everyone agrees is good. There are people that think meat is bad (Canaday), vegetables are bad (YMMV), eggplants/beans are bad, fruits are bad, etc.
I think carbs, sugars, and fats are great and necessary for runners that run a lot (a category that includes me). It's hard to get enough calories otherwise. I personally thrive on yogurt and ice cream (bought five 1.5 pt. cartons last week, and about half done already). I think of pizza as healthy, especially homemade and vegetarian. Granola bad? It's oats made portable. I personally don't drink alcohol unless it's free, but don't think a drink a night is unhealthy.
