For keeping track of my mates' running progress I use Strava
For data and training log info about how my personal running training is going I use FetchEveryone
For additional detailed analytics I use RunAlyze
Horses for courses, none of them cost me anything and I can share the data between them without having to do anything other than stop my watch and sync to Garmin Connect.
I got hooked by Strava as segments and reliability were ahead of others when I was getting into the sport using a phone. And I was leading most of the local segments becaue no-one else used it locally.
Now I've got a social base on there with friends and family, and I don't need to clutter up other social internet sites with running specific banter and comments.
I like Strava. But I couldn't live just with that to keep a good training diary.
