Ask me anything
How does it feel to have gone against solid exercise guidelines regarding running in extreme cold?
Do you post in summer about not drinking water on your 90 degree 20 miler?

Are you an idiot?
That's solid. Are we talking actual air temp, or wind chill? I'll be honest, if it's wind chill, I'm a little bit less impressed.
But either way, what were you wearing? Any issues with sweating out and layers freezing? I hate when I dress just a bit too warm and get too sweaty. It seems to happen to me more on the longer, cold runs like yours.
Do your twig and berries still function properly?
Any frostbite?
How many layers did you need to wear to not die?
No replies, are you still alive?

How does it feel to be too poor to have access to a treadmill?
Actual air temperature. Not sure of wind chill but it wasn’t too windy.
For layers I wear thermal undies, two pairs of pants, two long sleeves, running jacket and gloves inside a big pair of mitts. Balaclava, neck warmer and toque. It adds a few pounds for sure.
I have treadmill access but can’t stand them for long runs!
Which state do you live in?
No state, I'm in Canada (converted to F for you though)
I thought you might be in Canada, but I know the Northern states get awful cold too.
Actually I prefer centigrade, I'm in England and we don't know what to do in cold weather.
And I love Johnny Cash
Did you have wind blocking undies unlike all of those guys from the frozen pecker thread last week?
Do you know Greg?
Yes! These are essential. I went for a run in this weather one time without them and I can't describe the pain that ensued.
Shouldn't your run be in kilometers? Don't dumb it down too much for the Trumpmericans.
Is that even possible?
