In the U.S. it is Alberto. Doping is the future and Alberto was ahead of his time as a Dope.
Jerry Schumacher.... Jerry miles ahead of the competition.
Arthur Lydiard, dead or alive is the best of any era.

He competes for national titles with BOTH men and women every year.
There’s also something to be said for doing it nearly 30 years.

Wouldn’t know - his athletes never race. Either injured or “deep in a training block”
Depends on the event. Marathon? Canova, obviously. But his credentials with track athletes are not as prevalent compared to other coaches. But his focus is on marathoners.
