Based on her instagram!!
Wow, when is the last time a school got 3 of the top 5-10 distance recruits in a class? Ever?
They will be a good team
Interesting choice
Chmiel (Toga) went there last year... N.C. State should be good for the next several years.
Wow ! You can just hand the Wolfpack the National Championship for the next 4 years !

you turn down a university of michigan education, lol
There are a bunch of runners on that squad and a few coming in that will never be on a top 7 again
Get out while you can...competing and getting a better education is better than sitting on the bench at nc state.

Chmiel and Tuohy go from in-state rivals to a 1-2 punch.

To answer this post, I would say the 06 Oregon recruiting class.
Who else is going to nc state?
Starliper, the Footlocker runner up.

Marlee Starliper and Claire Walters going to NC State, too.
Which ones get a scholarship? Is that public information?
and they have Savannah Shaw already...
Great choice!
Walter's starliper Camille and Schultz are going to be awesome teammates
Also NC State is a really good school. Some people need the elitism to open up doors for them but I don't think Tuohy is going to have that problem. She's focused on being a pro.
Great choice to surround yourself with a group of girls who are serious about running but also will be great teammates. She loved the weather down there too
They're all getting scholarships. They'll just combined Financial Ade, academic scholarships, and athletic scholarships
NC State recruits:
Katelyn Tuohy, 1st NXN
Marlee Starliper, 2nd FLN
Claire Walters, 4th NXN
Jenna Schulz, 13th NXN
Alyssa Hendrix,15th FLN
Gionna Quarzo,10:25 3200
Mia D'Ambrosio, sprinter

And even if she does not have much success as a pro, she's from a fairly well off white family family, so she does not need a degree from a fancy school to help her access most of the opportunities American society can offer. For some others in the society, passing on the opportunity to get a degree from an elite institution would be absolutely foolhardy. The irony of all the scrambling for places at elite institutions is that most of the folk who so covet those places for themselves and their children would do just fine without ever attending. For many of them, the degree amounts to little more than a vanity symbol.
I guess they knew what they were talkin about at this thread
Either she checks letsrun or great minds think alike. Either way smart decision
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
