No - not me. But in your case an idiot reveals himself.
I didn't argue that it was a private act - it typically isn't. You don't understand the nature of the offence. It occurred on television but we wouldn't have known unless the reporter subsequently protested. The viewer didn't see the act. In the absence of a prosecution it wasn't dismissed with a "wink". It was publicly called out and the offender identified and shamed nationally, and he felt required to offer apology. But don't let that impede the cries here for a good hanging.
The "obvious" is that most people don't choose to prosecute for acts like this. The blubbering sound you think you can hear is coming from those who think they should.
