Tall for a non running man would be over 6 foot 6
Tall for a running man is over 6 foot 1
Short for runner would be under 5 foot 6
Webb is very very short and muscular. Hes about 5 foot 6 without socks on. He is 5 foot 7 with his socks on

Alan55,
I'll darn sure provide that, as my thesis/dissertation was on this subject.
But if you think quick and fast are the same thing, then I GUARANTEE that you think a hypothesis and a theory are the exact same thing.
Ah, those must be really thick wool. Possibly with a large part of the sheep still attached.

In regards to the Ryan Hall jab.
Also if we are going over unfairness about running why didn’t you bring up genes: I think being 6”3 is not as helpful as having a dad who went sub 4.
Running Genes are 100% more impactful than being taller or shorter. Educate yourself a bit mate. Don’t make trash arguments.

Ryan hall is 6 even. Hes a shaggy headed prep that needs to be working at Hollister or American eagle.
He is a prep and will always be a prep and a goodie boy.
The average height for a male distance runner in the United states is 5 foot 9
Good grief boy, get over yourself.
Ryan Hall is a 2:04 marathoner.
Is there also a HUGE physiological differences among guys who have Small dick vs a big dick ?
I am sincerely curious .

Excellent news. Where's the link?
By the way, there is no risk that I'll confuse a hypothesis with a theory.
Do you know the difference between physics and physiology? Because the way you throw around the word "entropy" suggests otherwise.

Fast runners are inferior and obsolete.
OP is a manlet. Science facts: hates tall people because they are tall.
We're supposed to be so tolerant of everybody these days but the behavior of our resident Auties really makes that difficult.
Bob Hayes sure was fast. I wonder if he was quick?
Neither quick nor fast are scientific terms, you idiot.
Take your “knowledge” obtained from “lots of physics classes” elsewhere.

All of his posts lately are ridiculous. I have to think it’s on purpose, or perhaps dementia or a drinking problem.
Quick and fast are not scientific terms. This post is mental.
The only thing that matters is Work = Force x Distance. If you understand that then the post is easily dismissed.

Fast- this refers to the "overall" pace of an object from a to b, and usually requires very little turnover ratio because the object is large. Like a large ball that is rolling or a runner with very long legs. They arent putting out as much effort because each roll of the ball or each stride that is thrown is covering more distance. We could debate all day that taller runners are less aerodynamic and therefore more energy is used, but at the end of the day tall runners and larger rolling balls have a PHYSIOLOGICAL advantage. If you look at my history, I have always mentally DESPISED runners who are tall and lanky and over glorified. Everyone from craig mottram to jim ryun to ryan hall, I despise and loathe all of them because I feel they are over privileged because of their size and are therefore less talented. The only exception being paul tergat. These runners are fast. But they are absolutely not quick. From a scientific standpoint, they are, indeed, less talented.
You are an idiot. Having a longer stride because of height also requires more force, given the added weight.
No need to make nonsensical remarks because you are a midget who can’t run below a 55 in the 400m.
No one cares you aren’t fast or talented, a time is a time.
