i'll bite....
i had a dream that me, two close friends, my two close friends' dad, and some random were driving up a road on a cliff. i saw a giant three legged spider crawling down the cliff (i'm terrified of spiders in real life), and i told them all. Everyone (including the dad, who is driving) is trying to look back at it as we go around a turn, the dad doesn't turn the steering wheel enough and we start going over the edge of the road and i see a MASSIVE drop down to a rocky water area bellow. we start falling and flip upside down and i think "well, this is it" and then i woke up gasping for air... it was very terrifying.

There is a situation in your past, perhaps with occultic roots, that has caused either your work or personal life to be "flipped" upside down because people with influence in your life were unable to recognize the changes that were made. You are afraid that this situation will have a permanent effect on where you are trying to go with your life, perhaps a sense of finality that you don't believe you can have any power to control. Be encouraged that letting your past be your past will allow you to overcome the fear and the situation.
This isn't one particular dream, it's just all my dreams are a lot like this.
They involve either my past 2 serious gf's or my current gf. sometimes all 3 are in the same dream, sometimes just 1. Maybe I dream about them because I'm not completely over them?
Is there anyway I can start dreaming of a 4-some with them? Can I teach my body to do that, seriously?
In dreams, people often represent either relationships or characteristics of the people they symbolize. What these people are doing in the dream will tell more than the fact that they are in your dreams.
Can I teach my body to do that, seriously?
No, dreams are either part of your soul or your spirit. There is no training your body to dream specific things.
in my dream my wife was telling me that it is widely known that the guy Richard Hatch from Survivor was well hung, and this turned me on.
It sounds like you have some sense of inadequecy in your ability to feel intimate and pleasing to women, particularly your wife. Express your feelings, yes, the fears, and discuss what she can do to help you grow more confident in your relationship.

Bull. Have you never heard of lucid dreaming? When she was a teenager, my wife could wake up from a dream and then decide to go back to that dream instead of getting up. I've had the experience of lucid dreaming many times. Usually, once I realize that I am dreaming I choose to fly around, Superman-style.
Oh, here's a dream I had that you can interpret. I logged onto letsrun and all of the posts were rational, cogent messages concerning running, exercise physiology, race psychology, running news and a variety of other interesting topics. Everyone was polite and helpful, and there was no bullsh*t or abusiveness to be found. Further, the moderators never pulled posts for the purposes of promoting their own agendas. I realized that it was so fantastic that it must be a dream, so I put out my arms and flew out through the window, doing my own version of Google Earth.
Okay, lucid dreaming. Soul = mind, will, emotions. Spirit = conscience, discernment, communion. Lucid dreaming is a projection of the dreamer's mind into the realm of spirit where they have conscious control over the dream. That's my definition at least. What's yours? Using my definition, how is it possible to have a lucid dream that is not a part of one or the other?
I have a recurring dream in which I win Olympic gold in the 800 in 1:39.96. But it hasn't panned out in real life so far.
Unfortunately for you, stringing together a few words and phrases does not automatically yield a cogent argument.
The individual asked whether or not he could have control over his dreams (in this case, he wanted to experience a "foursome"). It has been shown that one can do exactly the sort of thing that he asked. End of discussion.

He didn't say, can I do this in a lucid dream. He said, "Can I train my BODY to....?" The answer is, no, you can't train your BODY to dream. You can train your SOUL or SPIRIT to dream.
This is the same as saying, can I train my mind to run a 3:59 mile? Sure...but it doesn't mean it will actually accomplish what you actually train your mind or spirit to do this with your BODY.
Is this cogent enough for you? If you're going to try and split hairs, stick to the actual text before you throw in your spin; it helps make the argument look more legit. Lucid dreaming was your idea, not his.
However, you are right, you can change your dreams...it's just not a physical "training".
When I was younger I once dreamed that I was at the mall. I took the escalator to the 2nd floor. I walked over to the railing, slightly leaned over and looked down. In slightly slow motion I lost my balance and fell over the railing. I'm slowly falling towards the ground and I'm thinking i'm going to die. I hit the ground, and it really doesn't hurt. I get up, go back up the escalator and do the same thing over and over again. What's that about?
You were in a phase where, out of curiosity, you continued to repeat the same public, risky behavior over and over without any adverse effects on your life.
I have 2 dreams all of the time:
1. my teeth are loose and it's freaking me out
2. I am able to long jump very very far ( not a long jumper) I think this is real and I can really reach very far I am almost floating in slow motion. Very strange.
Here's a dream that i would have about 3 - 4 times a night this past summer...
Im running down a street near my parents house.. Im in a big hurry to get to a track meet that Im supposed to be racing in. The meet is at my high school's track. So, as Im running down this road to get back to my parents house I meet up with a sprinting coach and runner who are walking down the street (I met both of these guys in college). So I stop and ask them what time it is and tell them that I have to race soon. The coach laughs at me and says I'll never make it in time. The fellow runner does basically the same thing but in a nice way (he looks at his watch, and looks back at me and pretty much tells me that there is no way I could make it in time). I get pissed at them both for telling me that and take off running again back to my parent's house. I finally get there, run inside, and try to find the car keys so I can drive the rest of the way. I am frantic by now and I cant find the keys anywhere (I also cant find the car because it wasnt parked outside when I entered the house). After running around trying to find the keys to a car that isnt around my sister pulls up in the driveway in the car that i am looking for. I get pissed at her now for taking the car when she was supposed to know that I needed it to get to this meet. Then, instead of jumping in the car I just stand there and keep trying to tell her how I needed to use the car and that she shouldnt have used it. FInally I get the keys but instead of driving I just take off running up the street towards my old high school track.
I never make it to the stadium. The dream would end there and then it would start back over from the begining. This took place for well over a month every night.
Any thoughts?

1) The dream is communicating that you are losing understanding or insight over certain situations.
2) Dream 2 is communicating that you have the ability to transcend your natural expectations in your vocation and personal life. Very good thing. The dream is simply exaggerating the point to make it more clear to your awakened mind.
I have a "flying" dream at least twice per month. Each time, I start running to the point where I get to a certain speed and I lift right off the ground. The dream is so realistic, that even as I'm having it I'm telling myself that this time I'm really flying and it's not a dream..the details of the things I'm looking at from the air are incredible....and it's a great dream.
Interpret please.
so the extreme long jumping is telling me that I am capable of much more than I am currently aware of or performing? It is so bizarre because I can go as far as I want in that dream. There is always a barrier and I just reach my feet past it and soar.
