How do you not have the returning FL champion on your list? I have no idea who #4 and #6 are, so take them off. Also isn't there a girl who beat Hart last weekend at NXN regionals who's missing? I guess it's impossible to answer your question when didn't attempt to select the top 7.

Zofia Dudek just edged out Hart last week. Both finished 10 sec under the CR. Thorvaldson belongs on that list.

My top 7 isn't necessarily set-in-stone. Take your own top 7 and predict how they would do at NCAA's

Better question: Could these teams win D2/D3/NAIA Natty's? I could see the girls winning all three, but I could only see the boys winning NAIA's and cutting it pretty close Vs. NCC at Dlll's

D1 boys and girls would be DFL.

D2 and 3 they would still place poorly. The guys for instance would have to run pretty close to their 5k PRs and then hang on for another 3k, and dudes that young don’t really have that aerobic strength yet.

Nico's 3200 and 3 mile line up pretty perfectly 8:40 and 13:39. This also says he should be able to run 23:36 for 10k, probably on the track. I'd say that stretching it he might be able to get 25-30 so yeah about what you said.

Could you imagine if this actually happened?? I would definitely watch. Also would love to see an actual analysis/prediction of this outcome. I think the girls would fare a bit better than the guys.

The OP is close. The Boys would probably beat a team by luck and the girls would beat a few. College guys are just so much faster than HS boys. If 100 college teams lines up against the HS team, the boys may only finish 50th. Most average P5 teams have 1 guy sub 14 in the 5k and a bunch around 14:10-14:20.

Well, Drew Bosley just won Big Sky conference and Kashon Harrison is like #3 on Colorado and they have only had about 4 months of college training. And all the HS guys you listed are better than them. So I'd say they could prob beat more than a handful of teams at NCAAs.

Is there a good reason to assume the boys would be able to race the 10K twice in 9 days?

(they could "race" it but this is not like running 5K or 3200 twice in 9 days- so they would have a decrease in performance, relative to the guys who are older and/or have more volume in training).

Were better than Drew Bosley last year, are not better than Drew Bosley this year.

Maybe the following would be a great HS women's team:

4. Margot Appleton

5. Katelynne Hart

6. Marlee Starliper

with regrets to not include Claire Walters, Taylor Ewart, Corie Smith, Brooke Rauber, etc.. The 2nd team would also be competitive.
