I would say that this is pretty impressive.

This is not surprising. Most amateur boxers run 40 mpw and spend about 3-5 hours a day on conditioning. Elites will be doing a lot more and their training is a lot harder and multifaceted than an average D1 college runner’s training.
That's very impressive!
I wonder what fraction of the lighter pro boxers could do this. I assume most above Middleweight (160 lbs) could not but many of the lighters guys look like they'd be good runners and I know their training involves a lot of cardio.
Yet another case of the 4-minute miler on every street corner, if only they would take up training.
I would be more impressed if I could find the actual race results.
If he's a boxer, than I'm an Astronaut.
He competes in super-light weight class, which is capped at 140 pounds (63.5 kg).
His body fat % is incredibly low:

He is a former track athlete who finished 6th in the country in 3000m (and 7th in 1500m) as a 9th grader.
He went on to have a successful high school career which included more appearances at national meets.

looks like a boxer to me.
Looks like a runner to me.
If I took a picture of me upper-cutting a boxer, you'd all think I was Tyson and I'm a former 13:54 guy.
He's a boxer with good running genetics. It's not really about his training, just like any other person with running talent.
Plenty of other boxers look and train the same and would be lucky to break 20
Impressive, but what is up with the homemade number he is wearing?

Break 20? People who are good at boxing tend to have better genetics for both running and strength. If a boxer can’t break 20, he’s just out of shape.

Nope. Ever see boxers do road work? Most of them never do more than the hunched shadow box shuffle with their hood up. That's not enough to break 20 for most.

Sorry but every boxer I know who takes the sport seriously (not necessarily high level but passionate amateurs) have no trouble breaking 18, the majority break 17. A “boxer” who can’t break 20 isn’t taking his training seriously, at least not cardio.

Link to race results for these pals of yours .
Wow, you seriously need proof that a trained boxer can break 18? Lol

Sure. It should be easy to provide that proof. Boxing is not running.

Exactly, boxing is not running which is why boxers do not participate in races but what they do is the road work, time trials on the road, hills, etc. I have proof on strata of three people in my martial arts group who have tempo’d sub 18 on the roads.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
