Did he choke or did he get DQ'd. On that last GLVC thread about Leva Zunda someone mentioned grade & eleigibility tampering. Did this affect Chappell too?

Your conference (GLVC) is one of the weakest track conferences in the country. If you show up you score points.

1. Duane Chappell pulled his hamstring warming up. He will be out 4-6 weeks. Mark Zilch jumped well for Lewis, as did Jen Schmidgal.
2. John Parson is a good runner, but I'm not sure what you mean by "should have been there". He did not qualify, right? I hope that he can make it in next year.
Gliac is the conference of Grand Valley, Ashland, Hillsdale, etc.
He qualified provisionally.

there is strenght in numbers:
gliac = 13 schools
glvc = 8 schools competing in t&f or xc, and atleast one of those schools does not recognize track as a sport, therefore they are a club sport. so that practically makes 7 schools.
i am not sure on this but aren't the majority of gliac schools public? which keeps tuition down and enrollment up? look at gvsu, a lot of kids on that roster. the same can go for usi as well, low tuition, shit load of runners.
