To others' points about showering with teammates.... is that something runners do? I don't remember ever having a group shower with teammates in college? We just showered in our dorms... Was my college experience atypical, or are people just trying to make cheap points against June? I mean, I know they're doing that in many contexts here, but I don't know what to make of this particular one.
So if June has a meet out of state, she should shower in her dorm, or what are you saying?

As for June, she wants to be accepted as being female and exposing her package to teammates would seem to be counter productive.
As for sharing a room, if doing so makes her teammates uncomfortable and if I was the coach, she would get her own room. It's not a big deal.
How dare you make such a transphobic comment about her "package"?
June's private parts aren't your business, but just FYI information, there are a lot of trans women with penises, just like there are trans men with vaginas who get their period. There is no relationship whatsoever between your genitals and your gender.
Trans women are women, June has every right to share a room and a shower with her teammates. If that makes some cis people uncomfortable, they should check their privilege and go to a diversity training.
