I find it hard to believe that she would use a phrase like this. Very contrived.
Unfortunately, as we saw with Lance Armstrong, we can’t believe anything an athlete says. Of course a dirty athlete going to say they’re clean: otherwise it would be a literal doping confession and they would be banned.
People like this can pass polygraphs. In her mind she didn't cheat because her competitors are all doing the same thing.
I don't say it's impossible to run 2:14 for a woman clean, but Kosgei isn't that woman . She looks guilty at all interviews
and her manager is Dr Rosa. Also too fast improvement in just four years time with 2:52 year 2015 . I really hope they will bust her quick.
Steven Seagull: You can take it to the bank.,,, , to the blood bank
Interesting Freudian slip, considering that "the bank" is the driver of all this doping.

She would never use that phrase, in any language. She has a very timid personality so it would be out of character. There are plenty of Kenyans who can get in your face. Like Caleb Ndiku telling journalists to stop "talking s**t about Kenya". But Brigid isn't the type.
God, I miss Caleb Ndiku. He was no nonsense.
Speaking during a press conference at Riadha House Wednesday after returning from Chicago on Tuesday night, her coach Eric Kimaiyo said Kosgei will never dodge any doping test.
“Brigid was tested six times before Chicago Marathon and before that, eight times ahead of London Marathon. She will never dodge a test. There are three times the anti-doping officials did not test her and they made a big deal out of it yet she was sick or had left the training venue when they arrived. Let them test her to the last minute. We are ready for the tests,” said Kimaiyo".
So much for the "there's only minimal testing in Kenya" crowd. I bet no Brit or American has been tested this much. How many times did Emma Coburn get tested? Once? Twice?

My athletes are ready for the tests too. I’m letsrun’s REAL magic wizard.
The bank of Kenya....
While you’re on the way from the bank, stop and pick up milk, bread, EPO. HGH, Creatine drip, test cream, and some Preparation H....
The way AK have embraced her doesn't bode well for those wishing for her to go down. They'd have heard first is something was amiss with her values.
yep, always bringing up Lance, hilarious how someone can't just be extraordinary great!
Saving this thread to bump when she ultimately tests positive in a few months.

As long as it’s after the record is ratified, I don’t care. I’m not particularly enamoured with her for reasons of personal preference. Still team Vivian and Mary.
“I also plan to frown post run for all my world records. I find breaking world records to be the least enjoyably part of my week.”
So she dodged a few tests?
Ouch.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
